In memory of Ziv Chen, the 14th

Our beloved Ziv Chen, the 14th, gave his life in Gaza in the Iron Sword War. He dreamed and aspired all his life for the building of the Temple and redemption, and sought to place the House of God on the tablet of his heart.

About the project
"In the chuppah, during the remembrance of Jerusalem stage, we place ashes from a stick on the groom's head, in place of the tefillin (called Peer) and break a cup. "To give to the mourners of Zion, to give them fire under the ashes..." (Isaiah 63). Peer comes from the word Tiferet, the number of Tiferet represents God.
A cup in the books of Kabbalah is the number of kingdoms, being receptive, containing, and appearing, representing Israel.
When Jerusalem was destroyed, and even in our days, when foxes walk in our homes and wicked people murder our children in its streets, it was destroyed, despite its tremendous development. We place ashes on a stick, to say that in place of the glory of God there are ashes, and we break a cup, to say that in place of the cup of Israel that receives and contains and manifests abundance from God there is a broken cup.
"However, we, the sons of believers, believe that the ashes will be transformed into glory and that the broken cup will be nothing but a cup full of abundance, and that the name of God will be sanctified over our house, and in the process over the house of Ziv and Hilel, and through this throughout the world ."
(From Ziv's writings in joint study with Hillel in preparation for the wedding)
Before the wedding, Hillel made Ziv's dream come true and bought him a lapel pin in the shape of the Temple.
Ahead of the Seder, Ziv in turn bought Lahillel a necklace with an engraving of the Temple.
Both of them did this out of a desire and prayer to place the House of God on the tablet of their hearts,
And out of complete faith, every house built among the people of Israel brings closer and builds the house of God, blessed be He.
The Temple is the physical dimension in which the people of Israel confine themselves, thereby making room for God to dwell in the world. We believe that wearing jewelry in the shape of the Temple is a declaration that our deep and true desire is the manifestation of His presence, blessed be He, in our world, His world. In our days, may He come.
