The Lost Temple Vessels
Do temple vessels from the days of the First or Second Temple actually exist today?
In this question, a distinction must be made between the Ark of the Covenant and the other vessels. The Ark of the Covenant was hidden at the end of the First Temple period by King Josiah and, according to tradition, exists to this day in the caves under the Temple Mount.
The remaining vessels were stored away or exiled from the land at the end of the First Temple period, and it is debatable whether these vessels exist. It is true that in the Second Temple, all the vessels that were lost/stolen/broken with the destruction of the Temple by the Romans were rebuilt. There are sources that show that some of the vessels are in Rome,
However, no scientific evidence has been found for the existence of the tools in our time.
"A mortar from the house of Abtinas, a shalchan, a menorah, a curtain, and a tzitz are still placed in Rome" (Avot Darbi Natan, Chapter 41)
